In my paintings, I have over the years delved into the human body and portraits. The woman as a motif has particularly interested me. What a transformation she goes through when she becomes a mother. Furthermore, the woman interests me greatly, as she stands for that which protects and preserves, and is a clear alternative that leads in this time we live in. She carries Hope and Life beyond what the world is now.
