The artist couple Aino Myllykangas and Jussi Taipaleenmäki live and work in Åkersberga. They find inspiration in Roslagen as well as from distant travels.
Aino Myllykangas began her art studies at Konstfack in the early 1970s and has primarily focused on graphic art. Later, she turned to sculpture in clay and recycled materials as a counterbalance.
Jussi Taipaleenmäki, born in 1948, transitioned from factory work to becoming an artist in his 30s. His public sculptures can be seen across the country, from north to south. Alongside painting, he has worked with lithography.
